Short season

The growing season here is short. Lose a few weeks to a late frost or early cold snap, and you lose a real part of the year.

Hard weather

Wind dries the soil and pulls at anything not properly anchored. High-altitude sun is hard on plants and harder on thin plastic. Hail can show up fast.

Hungry critters

Gophers come from underneath. Rabbits and deer come from the sides. Insects find any bed left open.

Greenhouse kits create another problem

Most greenhouse options still leave you with a pallet of parts, a foundation question, beds to build, covers to source, and a weekend you may not want to lose.

Getting a garden should not require becoming a builder.

What we build

We build the growing space for you.

We build Mud Hub greenhouses in northern New Mexico, and we build them right on your property.

When we leave, the frame is up, the raised beds are built, the shade cloth is fitted, the winter cover is in place, and the structure is secured for wind, weather, gophers, rabbits, and deer.

You tell us how much room you have and choose a Mud Hub direction. We come, put it up, and you start planting.

Almost everything else in this category ships to you on a pallet. Ours does not.

Built for this place

Not just a greenhouse shell.

A Mud Hub is built around the growing space from the beginning. The structure, beds, covers, shade, and critter protection are designed to work together.

01

Built On-Site, Not Dropped Off

Most greenhouses arrive as a pile of parts. Mud Hub comes to your property and builds the structure for you.

You are not losing a weekend to a confusing diagram or finding out later that the frame was built out of square.

02

Built for Wind, Sun, Cold, and Hail

This is the climate we built for. Our steel hoop frames are anchored to raised beds for wind, our shade cloths are cut for high-altitude sun, and our covers are designed for the cold months.

We are not adapting a kit made for gentler climates and hoping it holds up here.

03

Built Against Critters

Gophers, rabbits, deer, and insects are not small details in New Mexico gardening. They can wipe out good work fast.

Critter protection is built into the Mud Hub design. It is not something you have to figure out afterward with hardware cloth and hope.

04

Built for Production, Not Just Looks

Most people who call us are not just looking for a hobby. They want to eat what they grow.

That is why solid wood raised beds are standard. You do not have to buy a structure first and then figure out how to turn it into a real growing space later.

What comes with a Mud Hub

The parts you actually need are part of the system.

A Mud Hub is not a bare frame that leaves the real work to you.

No footings or permits are required in most municipalities.

Three Easy Steps…

Measure → Choose → We Build.

You do not need every detail figured out before you start.

A Mud Hub is not dropped off for you to figure out later.

We help you choose the right direction, then build the greenhouse on your property so the frame, beds, covers, shade, and critter protection work together from the start.

01

Measure Your Space

Start with the space you have, even if the measurements are rough. Tell us where the Mud Hub would go and what you want to grow.

02

Choose Your Mud Hub Model

We help you think through the right model, size, and path for your home, school, Pueblo, community project, small farm, or facility.

You can even schedule to visit the Mud Hub Showroom, which is the original Mud Hub still standing and producing 12 years later.

03

We Build It

Mud Hub comes to the property and puts it up. The crew arrives, puts up the frame, builds the raised beds, fits the shade cloth and winter cover, and secures the structure for wind, weather, and critters.

04

You Start Planting

When the build is done, your next job is not assembly. Your next job is preparing your soil, planting, and using the greenhouse.

We grow here too.

Mud Hub was built because this climate kept proving a point.

Mud Hub gardens in the same wind, frost, sun, hail, and critter pressure our customers deal with.

This is not a greenhouse idea shipped in from somewhere easier. It was designed here because growing here can be hard, and the usual options were not solving the whole problem.

The original Mud Hub is still standing and still producing twelve years later. That matters because durability is not just a selling point. It is the reason this whole idea exists.

We did not want to build something people would replace after a few seasons. We wanted a greenhouse that helps make gardening more productive, more enjoyable, and less vulnerable to the same problems that make people quit.

Mud Hub is already serving different kinds of growers.

Different projects. Same New Mexico conditions.

Home gardeners, schools, Pueblos, community projects, small farms, and correctional facilities all come to Mud Hub with different goals. The problem is usually familiar: short seasons, hard weather, hungry critters, and greenhouse options that leave too much for the buyer to figure out.

Mud Hub gives each project a finished growing space built for New Mexico conditions.

For Home Gardeners

You want to grow more of your own food, stretch the season, and stop losing good work to frost, wind, heat, and critters.

A Mud Hub gives you a protected growing space without handing you a pallet of parts and a weekend of frustration. We build it on your property, include the raised beds, fit the covers, and secure the structure so you can start planting instead of becoming the contractor.

For Schools and Learning Programs

Insti GH

A greenhouse can become a living classroom, but getting one approved, funded, delivered, and built can become a whole project by itself.

Mud Hub helps schools move from idea to usable growing space. We build the structure, include the raised beds and protection, and leave students with a place they can step into, learn from, and grow in.

For Pueblos and Community Spaces

Community growing projects need more than a greenhouse shell. They need a sturdy space that can support food, teaching, gathering, and long-term use.

Mud Hub is built for the same New Mexico conditions local growers already know: wind, frost, sun, low rainfall, and critters. We help turn the project into something real, built, protected, and ready for the community to use.

For Small Farms and Growing at Scale

When the season is short, losing a few weeks can matter. Wind, frost, heat, and pests do not just slow things down. They can erase production.

Mud Hub gives small growers a protected structure built for practical use. It is not a bare commercial hoop house where everything after the frame is on you. It is a growing system with beds, covers, protection, and a build path that makes sense.

You measure your space, choose a Mud Hub direction, and we show up to build it.

For Correctional Facilities and DIY

Some projects need a greenhouse for more than food. They need a space for purpose, skill-building, routine, and internal build feasibility.

Mud Hub can support institutional growing projects with a design that has clear parts, guidance, and a system that can be assembled under facility rules.

When security, staffing, funding, or internal build requirements matter, the plan needs to be clear before the project starts. Ready to plan a Mud Hub for your correctional facility?

Not Sure Where You Fit?

That is fine. You do not need to know the perfect model, exact size, or final budget to start.

Tell us what you want to grow, where the Mud Hub would go, and what kind of project you are considering. We will help you think through the right next step.

What changes after the build

Protected. Producing. In Control.

The goal is not just that you own a greenhouse.

The goal is that you walk into a structure built for your conditions, with the beds ready, the covers fitted, and the growing space protected.

The weather still exists. The critters still exist. The season is still short.

But now your garden has a better chance.

You can grow with more confidence. You can stretch the season. You can protect the work you put in. You can spend more time planting, tending, and harvesting, and less time fighting the structure itself.

From gambling against the weather to growing in a space built for the weather.

Ready when you are.

Start with the space you have.

You do not need perfect measurements, a final budget, or every detail figured out. Tell us what you want to grow and where the Mud Hub would go. We will help you think through the right next step.

You measure your space. We build it.
